Improved
Email Converters - Ignore Inline Attachments Option
24 days ago by Paulius Petkus
We have added a new parameter to our email processing converters to give you more control over attachment extraction.
What’s new
A new boolean parameter IgnoreInlineAttachments is now available for:
When enabled, inline attachments such as embedded images, logos, and similar content are skipped during processing. Only non-inline (regular) attachments are included in the output.
Default: false (inline attachments are included unless explicitly ignored)
Why it matters
Emails often contain inline images (e.g., signatures, tracking pixels, logos) that are not relevant as actual attachments. This new option helps:
- Reduce noise in extracted results
- Focus only on meaningful file attachments
- Simplify downstream processing and storage
