Added Security Layer: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Is Now Available
about 6 hours ago by Paulius Petkus
We’ve introduced Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to help you better protect your ConvertAPI account and API usage.
MFA adds an extra layer of security on top of your password, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
Enable MFA here: https://www.convertapi.com/a/mfa
What Is MFA?
Multi-Factor Authentication requires two forms of verification when signing in:
- Something you know - your password
- Something you have - a time-based one-time code from an authenticator app
Even if your password is compromised, your account stays protected.
How to Enable MFA
- Go to Account → Security
- Open the Multi-Factor Authentication section
Or visit directly: https://www.convertapi.com/a/mfa - Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
- Confirm the generated code to activate MFA
That’s it - your account is now more secure.
Why This Matters
- Protects your account from password leaks
- Prevents unauthorized access to billing and API keys
- Helps meet internal or compliance security requirements
- Recommended for all users, especially teams and businesses
Your security is important to us, and MFA is a big step toward safer account access for everyone.
